DIRECT FROM THE MOUTHS OF KAREN STATE TEACHERS

The following are quotes from teachers from across Karen State responding to a questionnaire about KTWG's activities in Karen State schools.

"We really appreciated all of your work and we would like to thank all of you for the great job. We received all the money we're supposed to get and we were very happy because this is the only money (or) income that we could get in the whole year. We really hope we will get more in the future."

"For the future, we would like to get A4 paper and some carbon papers in order to write question for students' exam".

"We would like to get more subsidies, and if possible, we would like to have money instead of school material because the transportation was difficult."

"We would like to have children books such as short stories, cartoon drawing book, and color pencil for painting."

"We would like to have student text book and English text book for teachers will be filled in with answers in order to make it easier for us to teach."

"We would like our leaders to visit us during summer training."

"We thank all of our donors and organizations which serve for us. The distribution process was great and we receive all the money."
