How can you help?

There are currently 1049 schools, 3981 teachers and 83,345 students in Karen State. We provide training and basic support to all of these schools. We are continuously seeking financial, advocacy as well as educational and training support.
In terms of education assistance, our goal is to support teachers with a subsidy of $120 USD per year – this is the only outside support they will receive.  Teachers will also be provided with teaching materials and educational resource texts at a combined cost of $11.49 USD per teacher per year.  We also provide learning materials, basic health and sports equipment to the 83,920 students at a cost of $4.96 USD per student per year

With $11 per year, a Karen State student can have a teacher and the basic materials to support her learning and health.
