From April 25th to 26th, 2023, a training session was held for 22 Master Trainers on Data Collection for Students’ Challenges in Mae Saraing. The training aimed to support participants in exploring the concept and practice of inclusive education with teachers, introducing and confidently explaining the benefits of a functional approach to inclusion, familiarizing participants with the proposed data collection process, and incorporating lessons learned from the data collection pilot into the data collection process and rollout. Participants were trained to use the observation questions and data recording form to collect accurate and meaningful information that can be used to plan for and arrange support for students without labeling or stigmatizing them. The workshop was conducted for those who will be responsible for training teachers on the approach, and a total of 22 participants (11 males and 11 females) attended the training.
