On April 7, 2026, Karen Teacher Training College (KTTC), located in Doo Pla Ya District, Southern Karen State, successfully held its graduation ceremony for the 2025–2025 academic year. The ceremony marked an important milestone for graduating students who completed their academic studies and teaching service.
The event began with opening remarks by a member of the KTTC School Committee, who warmly welcomed graduates, teachers, guests, and community leaders. The speaker highlighted the importance of teacher education and expressed appreciation to all supporters who contribute to the development of education in Karen communities.
An encouraging speech was delivered by a local leader and a former student from the Batch Three. The speaker congratulated the new graduates and diploma holders who completed three years of teaching internship service in their community schools. The speech emphasized dedication, leadership, and the responsibility of teachers to serve their communities with commitment and integrity.
Following the speeches, graduation certificates and diplomas were officially awarded to all graduates and diploma holders. This moment represented the successful completion of years of study, training, and community service.
In total, 62 students graduated from the college, including 12 male and 50 female graduates. Additionally, 65 students received diplomas, consisting of 16 male and 49 female diploma holders.
The ceremony concluded with closing remarks by a KTTC School Committee member, who congratulated the graduates and encouraged them to continue contributing to quality education and community development.
